It’s been a while…

So it’s been just over a year from my last update here. There are a few reasons for that which i’ll detail in a later post, but for now I want to focus on the new versions for two of my solutions:

Notifications Unleashed

I’ve updated Notifications Unleashed, resolved quite a few issues, ensured it works on CRM 2013, CRM 2015, CRM 2016 and Dynamics 365, as well as on the three major browsers. I’ve also created some documentation to assist everyone get started quickly.

Dynamic Calendar

I wrote the initial version for Dynamic Calendar in a very short amount of time, primarily as an internal tool and a proof of concept and it was never really meant to be released. I decided to try it out as a beta and received great feedback from so many people! Since it was written hastily, resolving some of the issues the beta testers submitted was very difficult, and sometime simply impossible. To resolve this, we fully re-wrote Dynamic Calendar to ensure it is more stable and provides a good framework to keep going. This new version provides a significant update from the beta version. We’ve resolved dozens of bugs, made the system more user friendly, and even included pre-created view to get you started quickly.

We also have a massive backlog of features we want to add like a record preview on calendar item hover, more configuration options for the display field, and adding conditional formatting.
